Seraphim Advances to Third Round of Singles Qualifying

TULSA, Okla. -- Christian Seraphim advanced to the third round of the singles qualifying draw at the Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa, highlighting the Wake Forest men's tennis team's action in the tournament on Tuesday.
Seraphim topped Michael Genender of Stanford 7-5, 6-2 and moves on to the third round on Wednesday, where he will take on qualifier Cristobal Rivera of Loyola Marymount.
In doubles qualifying action, the Demon Deacons posted a perfect 3-0 record as Keivon Tabrizi and Jon Ho topped Diego Pedraza and Ciro Riccardi of Dartmouth 6-2, 6-3 in the Round of 128 before beating Kai Lemke and Andrew Watson of Memphis 6-0, 6-3. Sam Bloom and Anthony Delcore also topped Rivera and Charles Boyce of Louisiana Monroe 6-4, 1-0 after the ULM duo was forced to retire.
Finishing out singles qualifying consolation action, Tabrizi topped Maxx Lipman of Florida 6-2, 6-4 and Maksim Kan beat Rishab Agarwal of Mississippi State 6-2, 6-2.
The tournament continues tomorrow morning at Tulsa. The main draw for singles and doubles is slated to start Thursday. Romain Bogaerts is already in the main draw for singles while Seraphim and Christian Seraphim are in the doubles draw together.
