Wake Forest Hosts La Salle
• The Demon Deacons return home to host La Salle on Nov. 25.
• Tip-off at LJVM Coliseum is scheduled for 2 p.m. Admission is free for all fans.
Wake forest Storylines
• The Demon Deacons started the season 3-0 for the second-straight year before suffering the first loss of the season at Mizzou.
• Eight Demon Deacons saw action in the first four games of the season. Four of the players were new to the program in freshmen Ariel Stephenson, Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker along with graduate transfer Keyonna Allen.
• Sophomore Amber Campbell has scored 20 points in back-to-back games. She has scored in double figures in three of four games this season and 23 of 37 career games.
• At Missouri, Milan Quinn scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, giving her a second double-double over a three-game stretch while scoring in double figures in each of those contests.
• Ariel Stephenson was named the ACC Freshman of the Week on Nov. 16 after averaging 17 points per game during opening weekend. She scored 21 points in her collegiate debut against LSU and followed it up with 13 points in the win over ETSU.
• The Demon Deacons were picked to finish 14th in the ACC this season by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and the coaches' preseason poll.
• Wake Forest is without All-American Dearica Hamby, who graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer and rebounder. Hamby was the first Deac ever selected in the WNBA Draft when she went sixth overall to the San Antonio Stars.
Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons suffered their first loss of the season at Missouri, 94-81.
• Wake Forest had five players in double figures, led by Amber Campbell with 20 points. Both freshmen Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker finished the evening with 14 points apiece and Ataijah Taylor posted 11 points. Milan Quinn also scored 12 points.
• Wake Forest cut an 18-point deficit to nine twice in the second half but Missouri pulled away both times for the win.
Series History
• This is the second-ever meeting between Wake Forest and La Salle. The Demon Deacons won the first meeting 87-71 on Nov. 22, 2002 in Dallas, Texas.
Next Time Out
• Wake Forest travels to Washington, D.C. to face American at 2 p.m. on Nov. 29.
• This will be the second-ever meeting between Wake Forest and American. Last year the Deacs defeated the Eagles 77-64 at home.
