WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - A total of five Demon Deacons are ranked in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association individual rankings, the organization announced Tuesday.
Three players are ranked in singles, in addition to a doubles pairing.
Romain Bogaerts remains in the top 20, slotting in at No. 14 nationally. He has a 5-2 spring record, losing only to a pair of top-20 foes. He earned victories against nationally-ranked teams East Tennessee State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Noah Rubin enters the rankings for the first time at No. 55. He won his first eight singles sets, which included victories over Duke's No. 36 Jason Tahir, Clemson's No. 69 Hunter Harrington and ETSU's No. 85 David Biosca.
Jon Ho also stays in the top 60, moving to No. 57. He is tied for the team lead with 16 wins, claiming victories in four of his last five matches. That includes a victory over South Carolina's No. 83-ranked Andrew Schafer.
Additionally, the doubles pairing of Christian Seraphim and Skander Mansouri enters the rankings at No. 50. The duo earned back-to-back wins over top-50 foes, first defeating South Carolina's No.46 Thomas Mayronne and Harrison O'Keefe, then knocking off the second-ranked pairing in the nation of Mikelis Libietis and Hunter Reese.
There are no new team rankings released this week, so Wake Forest stays at No. 18. The Deacons will bring select individuals to the Delray Beach Open, an ATP event, before returning to collegiate action on Feb. 21.
