Wake Forest Tournament History
• Seven of 15 schools in the field are ranked in the Top 50 by Golfstat, including three in the top 25.
• This is the 11th playing of The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate and Wake Forest has participated in each of the first 10 events.
• Wake Forest won back-to-back team titles in 2006 and 2007.
• The Deacons have recorded five top-5 finishes in 10 years.
• Last year Wake Forest fired a final round 284 and finished in fifth place. Danny Guise tied for eighth at 3-under par.

• Wake Forest is ranked No. 24 by Golfstat.com and No. 21 by Golfweek.
• Will Zalatoris is ranked No. 16 by Golfweek.
• Freshman Will Zalatoris was named to the Ben Hogan Award Watchlist. He is the only freshman on the list for the award given to the top men's collegiate golfer. . Bill Haas is the only Demon Deacon to win the award as he was named the top golfer in 2004. Webb Simpson was named a semifinalist for the award in 2008 and Brendan Gielow was a semifinalist in 2010.
• Wake Forest won two tournaments in the fall including the Primland Collegiate Invitational and the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. Freshman Will Zalatoris took medalist honors with a 10-under 134 at the Bank of Tennessee.
