WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest outfielder Stuart Fairchild picked up his fourth Freshman All-America honor as he was recognized by Perfect Game on Wednesday.

In addition to the Second Team Freshman All-America nod from Perfect Game, Fairchild has been tabbed as a first team selection by the NCBWA, second team by Baseball America, and on Louisville Slugger's only team.

Fairchild put together one of the best rookie campaigns in Wake Forest history. All-time among freshmen, he ranks tied for fourth in hits (68) and stolen bases (12), ninth in doubles (14), and 10th in batting average (.349).

He was also recognized by the ACC as a First Team All-ACC pick and a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team.

Fairchild was one of seven honorees from the ACC, with Louisville's Brendan McKay being named the Freshman of the Year.

This summer, Fairchild is competing with the Baltimore Redbirds in the Cal Ripken League. He's hitting .293 with a homer, nine RBIs, 13 runs and seven stolen bases through 21 games.

Fairchild, Will Craig and Nate Mondou have now combined for 11 All-American and Freshman All-American awards this offseason.
