Wake Forest Men's Golf Announces 2015-16 Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's golf team announced its 2015-16 schedule on Friday. The Demon Deacons will play five events during the fall season and five tournaments during spring prior to postseason competition.
The fall season is again highlighted by Wake Forest hosting the Primland Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 28-29 in Meadows of Dan, Va. The Demon Deacons won the inaugural event last season, finishing the tournament at 38-under par.
Wake Forest makes its 2015-16 debut with Duke's Rod Myers Invitational (Sept. 12-13). The Demon Deacons will also play the Nike Collegiate Invitational in Portland, Ore. (Oct. 4-6), the U.S. Collegiate Championship in Alpharetta, Ga. (Oct. 16-18) and the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational on the Hawaiian island of Kauai (Nov. 2-4) during the fall.
The spring schedule starts Feb. 22-23 with the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate in Mobile, Ala., followed by a trip to Mexico for the Querencia Cabo Collegiate (Feb. 28-Mar. 1). The Demon Deacons will again play the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga. (Mar. 18-20), the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awendaw, S.C. (Apr. 3-5) and the Irish Creek Collegiate in Kannapolis, N.C. (Apr. 9-10) to conclude the regular season.
The ACC Championship returns to the Old North State Club in Uwharrie Point, N.C. for the 15th consecutive year, with the tournament scheduled for Apr. 22-24. The NCAA Regionals will be held at six sites throughout the nation (Albuquerque, N.M., Kohler, Wis., Nashville, Tenn., Stillwater, Okla., Tucson, Ariz., Tuscaloosa, Ala.) on May 16-18 as teams look to advance to the NCAA Championships, held this year in Eugene Ore., from May 27-June 1.
