WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's cross country teams will be in action Friday, Oct. 28, for the 2016 ACC Championships held in Cary, N.C. The women's 8k is set to start at 10 a.m. while the men's 8k race will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Both races will be aired live on ACC Network Extra.
The women's race will see two ranked teams in action while the men's team will have three ranked teams running. WakeMed Soccer Park will be the site of this year's race.
Last time out, the Demon Deacons were in action at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., the site of the 2016 NCAA Championships. The Wake Forest women placed second and the men finished eighth while competing in the White Division. Harry Warnick earned third place for the men with an 8k time of 24:53.8 while Mimi Smith paced the women in the 6k (21:34.4).
