TUCSON, Ariz. – Wake Forest junior Will Craig earned his first All-America honors of the season on Thursday, as he was selected as a Louisville Slugger first team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

The first team third baseman, Craig has a .392 average with 16 doubles, 16 homers, 65 RBIs and 47 walks. He has also excelled on the mound, recording eight saves to go along with a 2-0 record and 2.42 ERA.

Craig was a consensus All-American a season ago, including being named to the first team on five of the six All-America lists.

This year, Craig is also up for the Golden Spikes Award, Dick Howser Trophy, and John Olerud Two-Way Player Award.

Craig and the Deacons are in action this weekend at the NCAA College Station Regional, beginning with a 4 p.m. ET game against Minnesota on Friday on ESPN3.
