GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of Wake Forest women's golfers were named to the 2015-16 All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (June 21). Sophomore Erica Herr and freshman Antonia Eberhard both received the honor for the first time in their career.
Herr was third on the team with a 75.96 scoring average in 2015-16. She had three top-20 finishes during the year, including a season-best 14th place finish at the Landfall Tradition.
Eberhard was fourth on the team with a 76.04 scoring average during her rookie season. Her best finish of the season came at the ACC Championship, where she was 7-over to tie for 19th place.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
