Demon Deacons to Compete in JDL College Team Challenge

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's track and field teams will compete at the JDL College team challenge held at the JDL Fast Track Thursday, Feb. 9. This meet will be the fourth of five held at the JDL Fast Track this indoor season.
Competition begins at 5 p.m. Thursday evening.
The Deacs will compete against Campbell, Elon, Flagler College, High Point, The Citadel, Mt. Olive, Queens, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Pembroke, Davidson and North Carolina.
Twenty-two Demon Deacons are expected to compete in the challenge including 17 men and five women. Elijah Shalaway, Mitch Earley and Mary Grace Hash are set to make their Demon Deacon debuts.
After Thursday's competition, the Deacs will head north to Lynchburg, Va. to compete in the Liberty Elite Invitational on Feb. 10 & 11.
