The Matchup
• Wake Forest plays Syracuse in its regular-season home finale on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
• The game will serve as Madison Baumgardner's senior day, as well.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest got back into the win column with a 2-1 victory over ACC foe Clemson on Thursday night.
• The Demon Deacons dominated the first half, holding a 12-0 advantage in shots, including one from Hulda Arnarsdottir which found the back of the net.
• Gi DeMarco added a goal just minutes into the second half, and Wake Forest was able to withstand Clemson's rally the remainder of the half.

• The Demon Deacons debuted at No. 15 in the NCAA RPI on Sept. 17. The Deacs also started the season in the No. 15 spot in 2017. Wake Forest remains in the top 25 of the RPI this week.
• Wake Forest faces 13 squads that made it to the NCAA Tournament in 2017, including two College Cup teams in South Carolina and Duke. The Deacs have already played eight top-25 opponents this season.

• Syracuse has struggled in ACC play this year, currently holding a 3-13-0 overall record and 0-8-0 mark in league action.
• Kate Hostage leads the Orange in all three offensive categories with four goals, two assists and 10 points.
• The Syracuse back line has struggled, holding a 2.85 goals-against average and .659 save percentage as a team.

Series History
• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against Syracuse by a 3-1-1 margin. Last year, Hannah Betfort scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory on the road.
• The Deacs are 2-0-1 against Syracuse inside Spry Stadium.
