The Matchup
• The Wake Forest women's basketball team looks to move to 3-0 on the season on Sunday, Nov. 11, as the Demon Deacons face Richmond.
• Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Ty Collins will have the call of Sunday's action.

Last Time Out
• The Deacs improved to 2-0 on the season with a 69-54 victory over Mercer on Friday, Nov. 9.
Elisa Penna finished with a game-high 26 points, the second-highest scoring performance of her career. The senior was 8-of-15 from the field, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Ona Udoh fell one rebound shy of back-to-back double-doubles, finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds, all on the defensive glass.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Senior Elisa Penna leads the Demon Deacons into the 2018-19 season, having been named to the preseason All-ACC team. Additionally, Penna was named to the Cheryl Miller Award watch list, presented to the top small forward in the country.
• Senior Ariel Stephenson will miss the entire season after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. She became the third Deacon to miss the upcoming season, as Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker were both medically disqualified this summer.
• The team welcomes five newcomers to the roster in freshmen Kaylen Dickson, Ellen Hahne, McKenna Frank, Lindsey Jarosinski and Christina Morra.

Opponent & Series History
• Richmond is 0-2 on the year following home losses to Georgetown and Fairfield to open the season. Alex Parson has averaged 11 points and four rebounds while Emma Squires has added 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
• Wake Forest will look to even the all-time series history, with Richmond holding a 7-6 advantage in games played. The two teams met last year in Richmond, with the Deacs claiming a 85-81 victory. Gina Conti had her best game of the season, coming off the bench to score 19 points.
• Michael Shafer is in his 14th season at the helm of the Richmond program.
