The Matchup
• The Wake Forest women's basketball team hits the road for the first time this season on Sunday, Nov. 18, as the Deacs travel to Richmond, Virginia, to face VCU.
• Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

• The Deacs improved to 3-0 on the season with a 62-48 victory over Richmond on Sunday, Nov. 11.
• Ivana Raca had her third consecutive game in double figures, scoring a game-high 19 points. Elisa Penna added 17 points, with 14 of them coming in the second quarter.

• Senior Elisa Penna leads the Demon Deacons into the 2018-19 season, having been named to the preseason All-ACC team. Additionally, Penna was named to the Cheryl Miller Award watch list, presented to the top small forward in the country.
• Senior Ariel Stephenson will miss the entire season after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. She became the third Deacon to miss the upcoming season, as Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker were both medically disqualified this summer.
• The team welcomes five newcomers to the roster in freshmen Kaylen Dickson, Ellen Hahne, McKenna Frank, Lindsey Jarosinski and Christina Morra.
