• Alex Sharp recorded the ninth double-double of her career with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Gina Conti ranks second in the ACC in assists per game (5.3) and minutes played per game (36.5). She is one of three Deacs to rank in the top seven in the ACC in minutes per game, joined by Elisa Penna (3rd - 36.0) and Raca (7th - 34.9)
• Senior Elisa Penna leads the Demon Deacons into the 2018-19 season, having been named to the preseason All-ACC team. Additionally, Penna was named to the Cheryl Miller Award watch list, presented to the top small forward in the country.
• Senior Ariel Stephenson will miss the entire season after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. She became the third Deacon to miss the upcoming season, as Kortni Simmons and Destini Walker were both medically disqualified this summer.
• The team welcomes five newcomers to the roster in freshmen Kaylen Dickson, Ellen Hahne, McKenna Frank, Lindsey Jarosinski and Christina Morra.
