The Matchup:
• The No. 11 Demon Deacons head to Anderson, South Carolina to take on Clemson in their ACC opener on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.
Last Time Out:
• Wake Forest finished the ITA National Women's Tennis Team Indoor Championship with a 2-1 record, including a 4-1 win over No. 12 Auburn on Sunday, Feb. 11.
• In their opening match of the tournament, the Deacs fell, 4-0, to No. 2 Vanderbilt before rebounding with a 4-0 win over Wisconsin in the consolation draw.
• Wake Forest's win over Auburn was its third of the season over a top-20 opponent.

• After a 6-1 start to the season, the Demon Deacons have soared up the national rankings.
• In the ITA's weekly poll, the Demon Deacons moved all the way up to No. 11, their highest ranking since the 2001-02 season.
• The Deacs are 9th in the USTA poll, which is their highest ranking in any national poll since 2001-02.
• Wake Forest has two players in the top 100 of the ITA's singles rankings. Junior Emma Davis sits at No. 77 while Eliza Omirou comes in at No. 80.
• The doubles pairing of Omirou and Anna Ulyashchenko check in at No. 34.
• The duo of Emma Davis and Chandler Carter sits at No. 22. It marks the first time the Deacs have had two ranked doubles pairings since September 2007.
The Opponent:
• Clemson is off to a 3-3 start in the 2018 season.
• After winning their first three matches, the Tigers have dropped three in a row. All three have been to ranked opponents, with two losses to No. 16 South Carolina and a loss to fifth-ranked Georgia.
