Deacs Open Play at Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Wake Forest women's golf team began play Friday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club. The Demon Deacons shot 12-over during the first round and are in 12th place after 18 holes of the tournament, which features 11 top-30 teams.
Emilia Migliaccio led the Demon Deacons during the first round, shooting a 1-under 70 and is T-7th on the individual leaderboard. Jennifer Kupcho shot a first round 73, while Antonia Eberhard posted a 74 in her first round since September. Mai Dechathipat had a 79 and Siyun Liu shot 82 to round out the lineup.
The tournament will continue Saturday and conclude Sunday at Long Cove Club.
