Kupcho T-16th at LPGA Marathon Classic

SYLVANIA, Ohio -- Wake Forest rising senior Jennifer Kupcho posted a top-20 finish at the Marathon Classic, the LPGA event held at Highland Meadows Golf Club July 12-15. Kupcho shot 9-under at the event to finish T-16th in her first appearance at a tour event.

Playing as an amateur with a tournament exemption annually given by the tournament to the reigning NCAA Champion, Kupcho shot 68-71-66-70 to finish at 9-under par for the tournament. Her T-16th finish made her the only amateur to finish in the top 60 at the event.

Next week she will travel to Vancouver for the 2018 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship, where she is the reigning champion.
