The Matchup
• The top-ranked Demon Deacons return home for three-straight games, beginning with a 7 p.m. Tuesday game vs. Davidson on ACC Network Extra.
•  Wake Forest will be collecting items to donate to Hurricane Florence victims. Fans are encouraged to bring backpacks, bottled water, cleaning supplies, diapers, new kids clothing, paper towels, school supplies and toilet paper.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest earned its first road win at Clemson since 2009, earning a 3-0 win over the Tigers on Friday.
• The victory added on to several Wake Forest streaks. It increased the team's ACC unbeaten streak to 22 games (dating back to Sept. 30, 2016), increased the road unbeaten streak to 12 games (also since Sept. 30, 2016), and kept Wake Forest unbeaten and untied in 2018.
Justin McMaster, Kyle Holcomb and Aristotle Zarris scored Wake Forest's three goals, while Machop Chol added two assists in his first-career start.

Quick Kicks
• Wake Forest was ranked No. 5 in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll and moved up to No. 1 in the first weekly poll. The Deacs have been ranked in the top five in 26 consecutive polls dating back to the middle of the 2016 season - 21 more weeks than any other program (Michigan State - 5).
• The Deacs are once again one of the top teams in the country. Wake Forest is one of just two teams in Division I to remain unbeaten and untied (Saint Mary's), and is third in the country with 23 goals (27 - Saint Mary's; 24 - Air Force - both have played nine games).
• Wake Forest has a lot of new faces after sending seven into the MLS ranks following the 2017 season. Still, the Deacs brought in the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, headlined by top-50 recruits Isaiah Parente, Kyle Holcomb, Koby Carr and Aristotle Zarris.
• Since the start of the Bobby Muuss era in 2015, Wake Forest has a 63-8-7 overall record. That win total is the most of any Division I program.

Opponent & Series History
• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against Davidson, 29-4-1, including a 16-1-1 advantage at Spry Stadium. The Deacs have won 18 straight meetings since a 1997 loss.
• Davidson enters with a 4-3 overall record and is coming off back-to-back wins over UNC Asheville and WInthrop. The Wildcats played one other ACC program this year, a 1-0 loss to No. 5 North Carolina.
• Jaylen Thompson and Ned Morrissett lead the Wildcat offense with five points on two goals and an assist apiece. In goal, Davidson is led by Sawyer Gaffney, who has a 0.85 goals-against average and .769 save percentage.

Up Next
• The Demon Deacons return to ACC play on Saturday night, playing host to No. 9 Duke on ACC Network Extra.
