Men’s Cross Country to Compete at Paul Short Run

Eight Demon Deacons in action Saturday at Lehigh
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men's cross country team will compete Saturday at the Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. The event is the largest intercollegiate cross country meet in the nation with approximately 6,000 athletes from nearly 450 colleges and high schools slated to compete this year.
The Demon Deacons will compete in the Men's Gold Race, beginning at 11 a.m. Craig Corti, Jack Tiernan, John LePino, Alex Turner, Daniel Viegra, Will Hunsdale, Joaquin Martinez De Pinillos and Brent Bailey will be the eight runners representing Wake Forest at the meet.
The Men's Gold Race is an 8K race that will feature 43 teams. The Demon Deacons finished ninth at last year's event.
