• The Deacs upset No. 5 Penn State, 1-0, behind a goal from Bayley Feist on her Senior Night.

Scouting the Gamecocks
• The Gamecocks are 4-1-0 this season with the lone loss coming on the road at NC State on Aug. 26. The team is coming off of a 2-1 victory over Purdue. After defeating the Boilermakers, South Carolina extended its non-conference home winning streak to 17 matches dating back to 2014.
• South Carolina has not lost a regular-season match at home since Oct. 16, 2015 (Vanderbilt, 2-1). The team's last loss in Stone Stadium was a 2016 NCAA Tournament game against North Carolina.
• Offensively, Lauren Chang leads the Gamecocks with two goals this season, though six total players have scored a goal so far this year. All goals have been scored by underclassmen.
