DEACS OPEN TWO-GAME VIRGINIA TRIP IN BLACKSBURG
• Wake Forest continues a three-game stretch of ranked opponents with a visit to No. 9 Virginia Tech
• The Deacs are looking to defeat ranked opponents in consecutive games for the first time since 2004 when they accomplished the feat in three straight games (No. 13 Cincinnati, No. 3 Duke and No. 18 Georgia Tech)
• Wake Forest's last road win over a top-10 team came in 2009 (78-68 at No. 10 Clemson)

CHILDRESS RUNS THE SHOW
Brandon Childress leads the Demon Deacons in scoring (16.1 ppg) and passing (4.3 apg)
• He ranks in the top 10 in the ACC in scoring, assists, 3-point percentage, assist/turnover ratio, steals and minutes
• He has posted his first three career 20-point games this season, with a career-high 28 points at Georgia Tech, 27 points vs. Houston Baptist and 20 points vs. Western Carolina
• Childess is the only ACC player to have at least 10 points and three assists in every game this season
• He is the first Demon Deacon to lead the team in assists in each of the first 16 games of a season since Muggsy Bogues led the team in assists in all 29 games of his senior season in 1986-87
