Wake Forest Women's Tennis Set to Host 2019 ITA Carolina Regionals

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- Wake Forest women's tennis is set to host the 2019 ITA Carolina Regionals. The tournament will run from Thursday, Oct. 24 to Monday, Oct. 28. 130 players from 23 schools will be in action during the five-day event.
All 10 of the Wake Forest women's tennis players will compete in the tournament, nine in the main draw and one in the singles B draw. In addition to singles, all five doubles teams will compete.
Qualifying singles play will begin on Thursday morning and main draw doubles will take place at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon with both main draw and consolation rounds. Friday will feature main draw singles play outdoors, while the B draw will take place on the indoor courts.
The doubles quarterfinals will begin on Saturday morning followed by the round of 16 and quarterfinals of the main draw singles. Semifinals will begin on Sunday, with doubles taking place at 9 a.m., followed by singles at noon.
Championship matches will be played on Monday beginning with doubles at 9 a.m. and singles finals at noon.
