The Matchup
• The No. 4 Wake Forest men's tennis team heads to Cary, North Carolina to defend their title at the ACC Tennis Championship this weekend.
• The No. 1 seed in the field, the Deacs will begin their tournament run on Friday, April 19, with the championship match set for Sunday, April 21.
• Wake Forest's quarterfinal match will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday while the semifinal and championship matches are slated for a 10 a.m. start.
• In the quarterfinals, the Demon Deacons will face the winner of No. 8 Virginia Tech vs. No. 9 Notre Dame. Wake Forest defeated the Hokies, 6-1, at home on February 28 before taking down then No.-14 Notre Dame, 6-1, on the road on March 22.

• The Deacs are looking to repeat at the ACC Tennis Championship, having defeated North Carolina, 4-0, in last year's finale.
• It was the second ACC Championship title for Wake Forest, with their first coming in 2016. Both titles were won at the Cary Tennis Park.
• Last year, Wake Forest defeated its three opponents (No. 9 seed Virginia, No. 4 seed Notre Dame, No. 2 seed North Carolina) by a combined team score of 12-1. The Cavaliers took the lone point in a 4-1 defeat.
Sustained Success
• This year's graduating class of Petros Chrysochos, Alan Gadjiev and Julian Zlobinsky became the winningest class in program history on April 12 against Florida State.
• The win against the Seminoles gave the trio of Deacs their 117th victory as a team, surpassing the previous record of 116, set by last year's graduating class.
• Over the past four years, the Deacs have compiled a record of 118-14 as a team.
Lineup Shuffle
• The Demon Deacons have showcased their lineup versatility this year, as 11 different players have played dual matches this spring.
• Melios Efstathiou has shown the most fluidity this year, having played matches at all six singles positions.
Next Time Out
• The NCAA Tennis Championship field will be announced on Monday, April 29.
• First and Second Rounds will be played May 3-5, while Super Regional action will take place on May 10 or 11. The final eight teams will head to Orlando May 16-19.
• The Singles and Doubles Championships run May 20-25.
