JOHNSON, Ark. – The second round of the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Championship was completed Sunday at Blessings Golf Club after weather had suspended play on Saturday. Wake Forest ended the day T-9th place at 24-over after the round had been completed.

Due to the weather, the tournament's stroke play competition was shortened from 72 to 54 holes. The final round of stroke play is scheduled for Monday at the Blessings Golf Club. The top eight teams after the third round will advance to the match play portion of the tournament to determine the team national champion.

Duke is the 36-hole leader at 2-over par, followed by USC at 11-over and Texas at 12-over. Arizona and host Arkansas are tied for fourth at 14-over, Stanford is sixth at 20-over, Purdue is seventh at 22-over and Northwestern is eighth at 23-over. The Demon Deacons are tied with Auburn for ninth at 24-over, just one shot out of the last spot in match play.

Only two Demon Deacons were in action Sunday to complete their second round, after Emilia Miglaiccio (3-under), Siyun Liu (1-over) and Vanessa Knecht (6-over) finished their rounds on Saturday before the stoppage of play. Jennifer Kupcho finished her round at 3-over, while Letizia Bagnoli closed out a 10-over second round.

Wake Forest will tee off beginning at 11:55 a.m. CT (12:55 p.m. ET) on Monday in the final round. Golf Channel will have live coverage of Monday's play from 4-8 p.m. ET.
