Skip Prosser Classic Returns to Winston-Salem on Dec. 14

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest and Xavier have announced the date for the 2019-20 edition of the Skip Prosser Classic. The Demon Deacons will host the Musketeers on Dec. 14 at LJVM Coliseum. Tip time will be determined later when the ACC television partners announce their broadcast schedule.
The Skip Prosser Classic is a series to honor the late coach who left a lasting legacy at both schools. Prosser coached Xavier for seven seasons from 1995-2001 and at Wake Forest for six seasons from 2002 until his passing in 2007.
"We are excited to continue this series with Xavier," said head coach Danny Manning. "Coach Prosser was one of the finest people I have ever met and we continue to feel his presence every day within our program. The Skip Prosser Classic is the perfect way for both schools to honor and remember him."
The teams have not played the classic since the 2016-17 meeting in Cincinnati. After the 2019-20 matchup in Winston-Salem, the series will return to Cincinnati in 2020-21.
