DEACS TRAVEL TO ARKANSAS FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Wake Forest will compete at the 2019 NCAA Championships, hosted by Arkansas
• The Deacs advanced to the NCAA Championships with a 3rd place finish at the Myrtle Beach Regional
• It is the Demon Deacons' first-ever tournament in the state of Arkansas, marking the 33rd state in which Wake Forest has played an event

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
• Wake Forest is making its 45th overall and 17th appearence of the regional era (since 1989)
• The Deacs are making their first appearance as a team since 2016
• The Demon Deacons have won three NCAA Championships (1974, 1975, 1986)
• Wake Forest has had three NCAA individual champions (Curtis Strange-1974; Jay Haas-1975; Gary Hallberg-1979), while Arnold Palmer was the stroke play medalist at the event in 1949 and 1950

IN THE RANKINGS
• Wake Forest is a season-high No. 3 in the GolfStat rankings and No. 6 in the GolfWeek rankings
• The No. 3 national rank is the Deacs' highest at the end of the regular season since 2003, when they were also ranked No. 3 nationally
• Four Deacs are ranked in the top 70 of the GolfStat individual rankings, tied with Oklahoma State for the national lead

ALL WE DO IS WIN, WIN, WIN...
• Wake Forest was won five of its last eight tournaments
• The Deacs rank third in the nation in wins, trailing only Oklahoma State (seven) and Georgia Tech (six)
• The last time Wake Forest won five events was 1983-84, head coach Jerry Haas' junior season
• The Deacs won three straight events in March-April, their longest win streak since 1975-76
• Wake Forest has three different individual winners this season (Cameron Young, Eric Bae, Parker Gillam), the first time three different Deacs have won in a season since 1983-84

SHOOTING LOW
• Wake Forest is on pace to set the school record for team scoring average, entering the NCAA Regional at 280.24, over four shots better than the existing record of 284.31 set in 2014-15
• If the season ended now, four of the 10 best individual season scoring averages in program history would be set this season (Cameron Young, Eric Bae, Kengo Aoshima, Eugenio Chacarra)
Cameron Young is averaging under 70 a round, looking to join Bill Haas as the only player in program history to accomplish the feat (Haas shot 68.93 as a senior in 2003-04)
• The Deacs' 36-under performance to win the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational was the fourth lowest 54-hole score in program history and the team's 19-under first round in Augusta tied the program record for lowest single round

DEPTH SHOWING ALL SEASON
• The Deacs have showed depth all season long, with nine players posting a stroke average of 72.00 or better in 2018-19
• Eight Demon Deacons have posted a round of 67 or lower this season
• In 12 team events this season, seven different Deacs (Young, Bae, Chacarra, Fitzpatrick, Gillam, Aoshima, Steyn) have been the low Deac in the lineup
