
Deacs Travel to Louisville to Take on No. 7 Cardinals

Wake Forest will look for first win over a top-10 team since 2012
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – It will be a battle between teams currently first and second in the ACC standings when the Wake Forest women's basketball team faces No. 7 Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday.
The Demon Deacons (10-5, 3-1 ACC) have won six of their last seven contests including three consecutive in ACC play. A career-high 24-point performance from junior Ivana Raca helped lift the Deacs to a 63-58 victory over Clemson on Thursday. Wake has now won seven of the last eight against the Tigers.
The Cardinals (15-1, 4-0 ACC) are the last remaining unbeaten team in conference play and sit alone in first place in the ACC standings. Junior guard Dana Evans leads the team and is second in the conference with 18.3 points per game.
Tipoff for Sunday's game against the Cardinals is scheduled for 2 p.m. (ET) in Louisville, Kentucky. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

The Demon Deacons will also be in search of their first win over a top-10 team since March 2, 2012 when they knocked off No. 7 Miami (FL), 81-74, in the ACC Tournament.
