Omirou and Meredith's run in the National Collegiate Tennis ends in the semifinals

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – In the National Collegiate Tennis Classic, the No. 10 ranked doubles team of MC Meredith and Eliza Omirou fell in the semifinals.
 
Matched up against Tereza Kolarova and Cali Jankowski of Arizona State, the Demon Deacons doubles pairing lost 8-4 ending their run in the draw.
 
Omirou continued her run in the singles bracket. She started her morning against Kolarova (Arizona State). After winning the opening set of the match, Kolarova forced a third and decisive frame. Omirou held her off in the third to advance to the semifinals.
 
In the semifinals, Omirou saw her run come to an end, falling to Angelina Shakhraichuk (Baylor) in straight sets.
