Wake Forest claims six total wins in final day of Metroplex Mania

DALLAS, Texas – The Wake Forest women's tennis team closed out the first weekend of spring competition at Metroplex Mania.

Sunday was highlighted by four singles and a pair of doubles wins against Wisconsin. After winning with doubles partner, Alexis Franco 6-1, Peyton Pesavento picked up her another win in singles play.

She was one of three Deacs on Sunday to claim straight-set victories over their Badger opponents as Chandler Carter and Maddie Lynch also closed out their matches in two frames.

No. 82 ranked Anna Campana also ended her opening spring weekend with a win in singles. With the match tied at a set a piece, Campana put it away in the third set, winning 10-2 for Wake Forest's fourth singles win.
