Wake Looking to Sweep Season Series Against Georgia Tech

The Demon Deacons defeated the Yellowjackets earlier this season, 65-60, in Winston-Salem
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team travels to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon.
The Demon Deacons (12-11, 5-7 ACC) will be looking to sweep the season series after defeating the Yellowjackets in LJVM Coliseum earlier this season. With a win, the Deacs would draw even with Georgia Tech in the conference standings.
The Yellowjackets (15-8, 6-6 ACC) boast the ACC's best scoring defense, allowing 50.9 points per game. They are coming off a 77-48 victory at Pitt on Thursday night. Prior to the win against the Panthers, Georgia Tech lost five consecutive games.
Tipoff for Sunday afternoon's game against the Yellowjackets is scheduled for 2 p.m. (ET) at McCamish Pavilion. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

The Grove City, Ohio native now ranks 19th in the nation in total assists and 26th in the country in assists per game.
She needs just eight assists to move into seventh in program history in assists.
