The Matchup
• Wake Forest continues its nine-game homestand against Sacred Heart on Tuesday. The game was pushed back an hour due to rain and first pitch is now set for 5 p.m., and the game will air live on ACCNX.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons capped off an undefeated weekend with a 4-0 record, beating La Salle once, Brown twice and Sacred Heart on Sunday. 
• As a team, Wake Forest batted .366 with nine homers and 11 doubles, scoring 33 runs over the four games. The pitching staff also had an ERA of 2.00 with 48 strikeouts in 36.0 innings pitched.
Adam Cecere was named one of 15 National Players of the Week by Collegiate Baseball. He hit .417 with four homers and 10 RBIs over the week, including three home runs during Saturday's doubleheader.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest returns seven starters from one of the top offenses in the country. The Demon Deacons led the ACC in scoring last year with 7.8 runs per game.
• The Demon Deacons feature a trio of preseason All-Americans. Bobby Seymour was the ACC Player of the Year a season ago, while Chris Lanzilli is also a returning All-American. Shane Muntz was recognized by the NCBWA as a second team preseason All-American at DH.
• All four of Wake Forest's weekend pitching rotation are coming off impressive summers in the Cape Cod League.

Opponent & Series History
• Wake Forest won its first-ever game against Sacred Heart in the 2019 season-opener, 14-1. The teams also played this past Sunday, with Wake Forest winning that game, 9-5. Shane Muntz homered twice while Bobby Hearn and Riley Myers combined for 6.0 two-hit innings on the mound.
• Sacred Heart ended 2019 with a 19-34-1 overall record. The Pioneers defeated La Salle and Brown in neutral games over the weekend.
