
Morra and Sharp Named to Academic All-ACC Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Two members of the Wake Forest women's basketball team were named to the Academic All-ACC Team, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.
Senior Alex Sharp becomes the first player in Wake Forest history to be named to the team in all four seasons while sophomore Christina Morra was honored for the first time in her career.
Sharp, a psychology major, has been named to the Dean's List every semester of her career and recently attended the Dean's List Gala in February. On the court she has been equally impressive, scoring 1,111 points in her career while grabbing 897 rebounds.
The Melbourne, Australia native is looking to become just the fourth player in program history to record 900 rebounds in a career and is nine rebounds away form moving into third on Wake Forest's all-time rebounding list.
Morra, a psychology major, has been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll every semester she has been on campus. On the low block, Morra has enjoyed a breakout season, averaging 8.6 points and 4.8 rebounds while shooting 54.5 percent from the field.
The Toronto, Ontario, Canada native is playing some of her best basketball of the season right. In the last four games, she has averaged 11.25 points per contest while shooting 66.7 percent from the field.
