Wake Maintains Lead Through Day Two of Darius Rucker

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – The Wake Forest women's golf team has maintained its five-stroke lead after the second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. Junior Emilia Migliaccio has taken the top spot on the individual leaderboard.
The Deacons have stayed consistent and played as a team through 36 in Hilton Head. Day one ended with freshman Rachel Kuehn in the lead, while day two has wrapped with Migliaccio in the lead. While individual positions have shifted, the team remains strong with four players inside the top 25.
Migliaccio is the only player in the field that is not over par. Senior Siyun Liu is just one stroke off Migliaccio, as she's tied for second at +1. Kuehn also stayed at the top 10, sitting right at T10 just two strokes off Liu. Sophomore Vanessa Knecht has stayed steady and maintained her spot inside the top 25 at T22. Freshman Lauren Walsh has moved up 20 spots in the second round, sitting T45 with 18 holes left to play.
Final round tee times will begin tomorrow morning at 8:00.
