
Wake Forest Returns Home for Matchup with Louisville

Winston-Salem, N.C. – After completing a three-game road swing to open its ACC schedule, the Wake Forest men's basketball team will kick off a two-game homestand against No. 16 Louisville on Wednesday evening in Lawrence Joel Veteran's Memorial Coliseum.
The Deacs (3-3, 0-3) are looking to grab their first win against the Cardinals since March 1, 2017, when John Collins led the team to an 88-81 upset against the then-ranked No. 8 Cardinals with a 25-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Louisville (8-1, 3-0) is coming off a 73-71 win against Virginia Tech last Wednesday that pushed their win streak to four in a row.
Tipoff against Louisville is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. and the game will broadcast on ACC Network.

Wake Forest enters the game ranked 19th in the country and first in the ACC in Effective FG% at 56.1%. The Deacs have shot 58.3% from inside the arc and 35.5% from beyond the arc so far this season.
Wednesday's game will be the third of four consecutive games against ranked ACC opponents. The only other such occurrences in program history happened during the 1955-56 season (2-2) and 2015-16 season (0-4).
