
Wake Forest Have Eyes Set on Clemson

The Demon Deacons have won 11 of the last 13 games in the series including a 2-0 sweep of the Tigers last season.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball closes out its four-game homestand Sunday afternoon against Clemson in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Over the past two games, the Demon Deacons (8-6, 5-5 ACC) defense has led them to back-to-back stellar performances. Against No. 1 Louisville and Florida State, the opponents combined to shoot 39.3 percent from the field.
The Tigers (9-6, 4-6 ACC) are 1-5 in their last six conference games with their only win coming against a ranked Syracuse team in overtime. Forward Gabby Elliott is second in freshman scoring among all conference rookies. She has averaged 14.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season.
Tipoff for Sunday's game against Clemson is scheduled for 2 p.m. (ET) in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The game will air on ACC Network.

Gina Conti now has 899 points in her Wake Forest career and is on pace to become the 29th member of the 1,000-point club in program history. She is currently on pace to cross the mark in six games.
She would become the second current Demon Deacon (Ivana Raca) to reach the milestone and the third in the last two seasons (Alex Sharp, Raca).
