Wake Forest Prepared for Pre-Nationals Meet at FSU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Wake Forest cross country teams will be traveling to the Pre-National Invitational hosted by Florida State on Friday morning at Apalachee Regional Park.
The Pre-Nationals meet will include four races with the Garnet fields featuring many of the top Division I teams in the country. The races will feature 31 teams either ranked or receiving votes in the latest USTFCCCA poll.
The Men's 8k Garnet race will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Women's 6k Garnet race at 8:35 a.m.
The men's team enters this race ranked No. 17 nationally in the USTFCCCA poll and comes in as the second highest-ranked ACC squad. The Deacs will send Zach Facioni, Justin Robison, Thomas Vanoppen, Luke Tewalt and Jonathan Velasco.
The women's team is headlined by Carolien Millenaar after two top-10 finishes for the graduate student from Sorvard, Denmark. The Deacs will travel Amy Harding-Delooze, Gabriella Castro, Hana Catsimanes, Caroline Garrett, Carolien Millenaar, Madeline Rehm, Taylor Stone and Elise Wright.
