
Men's XC Placed 15th, Women 17th at Pre-Nationals

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Wake Forest men's and women's cross country teams placed 15th and 17th at the stacked field of the Pre-Nationals Invitational at Apalachee Regional Park.
The Deacs men finished 15th in their 8k race while the women placed 17th in the 6k competition.
Zach Facioni's 22nd place paced the Deacs to a top 15 finish against national powerhouse programs; he finished with a time of 23:25.5 which matched his best time at this course. Facioni and Luke Tewalt headlined the Deacs with marks inside the top 50 runners.
Carolien Millenaar notched the best finish for the women with a time of 20:36.5 as she placed 43rd out of a field of 246. Hana Castimanes and Madeline Rehm rounded out Wake Forest's top three.
