Wake Forest Set for ACC Championship at Notre Dame

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest Cross Country teams will travel to South Bend, Indiana to compete in the 2021 ACC Championships on Friday, Oct. 29 at Burke Golf Course.
The women's 6k is set for 10:10 a.m. with the men's 5-mile race scheduled for 11 a.m.
The ACC Network will provide live coverage of the meet starting at 10 a.m. following the live broadcast of Packer and Durham on site at 7 a.m. Live timing will also be available.
Wake Forest men will look to build on last year's success when four Demon Deacon men's runners earned All-ACC honors to lead the Wake Forest men's cross country program to a third-place finish, best since 2001. The men entered the championship ranked fourth in the southeast region and ranked as high as No. 15 in the USTFCCCA national polls.
The women's team is headlined by Carolien Millenaar after she has two top 10 finishes, respectively. The Deacs are ranked fifth in the southeast region and have two top 5 finishes this season.
The top 21 men's and women's finishers on Friday will be recognized as All-ACC. The first true freshman male and female finishers will be considered ACC Freshmen of the Year.
ACC Runner and Coaches of the Year will be the determined by a coaches' vote following the completion of the NCAA Championship.
THE MEET
The men's race will include two nationally ranked teams and three squads receiving votes.
