
Lanckohr, Friedman and Vancells Garner NFHCA All-Region Honors

The trio receives regional accolades for the second-straight season.
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Wake Forest junior midfielder Meike Lanckohr, junior midfielder Nat Friedman and senior midfielder Laia Vancells were named to the 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I All-Region Teams, as announced by the organization.
Lanckohr led the way, receiving First Team All-South Region honors, while Vancells and Friedman landed on the region's Second Team.
Last season, the trio also garnered All-Region honors for their contributions during the 2020-21 campaign.
The All-Region teams kick off postseason awards for the NFHCA as the Regional Players of the Year will be announced on Nov. 29, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on Dec. 14 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on Dec. 16.

Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week after leading Wake Forest's offensive attack with a trio of goals in back-to-back wins over top-25 opponents in No. 17 Duke and No. 21 UMass.
