Quote from Coach Averill
"Outstanding result against a competitive Louisville team. In the first half, that was a track meet and we made the field too big for ourselves to try to defend. The second half was much better putting pressure in the backfield, which was significant for us to get some momentum to allow our deeper players to play intercepting hockey. Just incredibly proud of this team. Just as I said to this group of seniors prior to the game, we do a senior game for recognizing them, but they have been a cultural driver in our high performance and chasing championships. I could not be more proud of their commitment to this program and we are just going to try to continue to extend the season, to keep their season alive. "

The Deacs begin ACC Tournament play on Tuesday at Karen Shelton Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C.
