GREENSBORO, N.C. - For the second-straight week, graduate guard Alondes Williams was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

The Wisconsin native led Wake Forest to non-conference wins over VMI and Charlotte last week as he posted team highs in points (70), rebounds (13), assists (10), field goals made (26), free throws made (14) and minutes (79:07).
Williams set a new career high with 36 points against VMI as he shot 11-of-20 (55 percent) from the field while going 12-of-13 (92.3 percent) from the free throw line. He also added five rebounds and dished three assists against the Keydets.
