Deacs Open ACC Play on Friday

The Demon Deacons are set to begin Atlantic Coast Conference play at home on Friday afternoon with a match against Notre Dame.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 13 Wake Forest men's tennis team continues its homestand on Friday against Notre Dame and the Citadel.
The Deacs go into the match with a 21-match unbeaten streak in conference play and are the back-to-back defending ACC Champions.
First serve against Notre Dame is set for 3 p.m. ET while the Deacs finish the day against Citadel at 6 p.m. ET.
Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Wake Forest has a 64-1 record in home matches. This includes a perfect 31-0 record over the past three seasons. The only loss at home came against Florida (4-3) during the 2017-18 season.

LAST TIME
The Demon Deacons made quick work of East Tennessee State in the first of a pair of matches on Saturday. After claiming the doubles point, the Deacs captured all six singles matches in straight-set fashion en route to a 7-0 victory.
The Deacs continued their dominant form in the night match against Wofford, finishing Saturday with their second 7-0 victory.
- No. 107-ranked Taha Baadi picked up a pair of straight-set victories to lead the way for the Demon Deacons as Wake Forest won every singles match in straight-set fashion on Friday.
NEXT UP
The Deacs are back home on Sunday with a pair of matches against Louisville and UNC-Wilmington.
The first serve against the Cardinals is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Wake Forest Tennis Center while the second match against the Seahawks is set for 5 p.m.
