Deacs Close ACC Home Opening Weekend

The No. 13 Demon Deacons look to extend its 22-match ACC unbeaten streak on Sunday afternoon against Louisville at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 13 Wake Forest men's tennis team continues its 11-match homestand on Sunday, facing Louisville and UNC-Wilmington.
The Deacs go into the match with a 22-match unbeaten streak in conference play and are the back-to-back defending ACC Champions.
First serve against the Cardinals is set for 1 p.m. ET while the Deacs finish the day against the Seahawks at 5 p.m. ET.
Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Wake Forest has a 66-1 record in home matches. This includes a perfect 33-0 record over the past three seasons. The only loss at home came against Florida (4-3) during the 2017-18 season.

LAST TIME
On Friday, the Demon Deacons moved past Notre Dame early in the day with a convincing, 6-1 win. The win moved the Deacs ACC winning streak to 22 matches.
The Demon Deacons sustained their command into the second match versus The Citadel, winning all matches in straight-sets for a 7-0 win.
- Against the Fighting Irish, Moroni won in straight-set fashion with a 6-3, 7-5 victory in the No. 4 match. Cungu finished his match in straight sets soon after, winning 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).
NEXT UP
The Deacs are set for another weekend at home, starting on Friday afternoon against Virginia Tech.
The first serve against the Hokies is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
