Wake Forest Set to Host Pitt and NC State at LJVM

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Wake Forest volleyball team has its first set of home matches for the spring season beginning this Friday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Wake Forest will host Pittsburgh on Friday with a match time set for 4:00 p.m. Then on Sunday Wake Forest will go up against NC State, also set for 4:00 p.m. at the Joel.
The Demon Deacons are coming off two tough road losses against the No. 13 Louisville Cardinals this past weekend. The Panthers are currently 6-4 and the Wolfpack is 5-6. Wake Forest is looking to secure its first win of the season this weekend.

Players to Watch
Peyton Suess | Sophomore RS
Peyton Suess was a lead player in the doubleheader matchup against Louisville. Suess combined for 11 kills this past weekend and had one of the highest attacking percentages for Wake Forest with a .333.
Caroline Kuhn | Senior OH
The senior started her final season off strong. Kuhn led her team in kills with a combined total of 14 over the two game stretch against Louisville. She also contributed three digs on the defensive side.
Paige Sebesta | Senior DS
Paige Sebesta assisted in multiple areas of the court this past weekend. Sebesta led the team with 11 digs and added five assists to cap the weekend. Sebesta has been a key component for the defense and will continue to be moving forward.

- Wake Forest narrowly leads the series 31-30. The Deacs' last win at home against the Wolfpack came on Oct. 10, 2014 when Wake Forest defeated the Wolfpack 3-2.
- The Deacs fell to the Wolfpack 3-2 Nov. 8, 2019 in Winston-Salem.
