WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest volleyball team is set to travel to Chapel Hill for a two-game ACC weekend matchup.

The Demon Deacons will face the North Carolina Tar Heels (8-4, 7-3 ACC) on Friday, March 19 with first serve set for 5:00 p.m. at Carmichael Arena. On Saturday, the Demon Deacons will go up against the No.14 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-2, 9-2 ACC). The first serve is set for 3:00 p.m. also at Carmichael Arena.

Friday's match will stream live on ACC Network Extra.

UNC Series

UNC leads this historic rivalry 51-15. Wake Forest most recently came out on top against UNC in the Deacs' final game of the 2019 season.

Last meeting

The Deacs won 3-2 against the Tar heels on Nov 27, 2019, in Chapel Hill.

Notre Dame series

Notre Dame leads the series 6-3 since joining the ACC in 2012. The last time the Deacs beat the Fighting Irish was on October 18, 2015, in South Bend, Indiana.

Last meeting

Wake Forest lost to Notre Dame 3-1 on October 11, 2019, in Winston-Salem.

Players to Watch
Caroline Kuhn | Senior OH/RS
In last weekend's match against NC State, Kuhn led Wake Forest with 14 kills. She is this season's overall leader in kills with a total of 87. The senior also racked up five blocks against NC State.

Ashley Slater | Freshman OH/RS
Slater was an offensive force in the front row this past weekend. She had a combined total of 16 kills. The freshman has a .313 attacking percentage which is one of the best for the Demon Deacons this season.

Peyton Suess | Sophomore OH/RS
Suess continues to be an offensive leader. She had 20 kills over the two-match stretch this past weekend. Suess had an impressive .360 hitting percentage versus the Wolfpack and showed off her defensive skills with 14 digs.
