3/26/2021 7:53:00 PM | Men's Tennis
Wake Forest picks up its 11th sweep of the season.
CLEMSON, S.C. – A dominant performance in doubles, six triumphs in singles led the No. 12 Wake Forest men's tennis team to a dominant, 7-0, victory over Clemson on Friday at Duckworth Family Tennis Center.
The victory moved the Deacs' (20-4, 7-1 ACC) winning streak to eight, while Clemson (7-10, 1-7 ACC) dropped their 10th loss of the season.
Quotable:
"Nice road win, especially on the hottest day of the season. The courts were the slowest we have played on all year. We started strong in doubles and quickly won five straight sets in singles to finish out. It is always great to get a win on the road in the ACC and now we look to get another win in Georgia against the Yellow Jackets." - Coach Bresky
HOW IT HAPPENED
Wake will make a quick turnaround when it travels to No. 35 Georgia Tech on Sunday. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. ET.
