• Started the season winning 12 of his first 13 matches, including 9-straight wins from (Jan. 31 to Mar. 13)
• Picked up a ranked win over No. 120 Edu Guell of Duke in the ACC Quarterfinal
• Had the most singles wins on the team (21)
• Was the one of two players to play a dual match at all six singles positions this year for Wake Forest, earning wins at every spot

Results
• Went 11-4 overall and 7-1 in dual match play
• Earned the 12th seed at the ITA Carolina Regionals
• Competed against teammate Bar Botzer in the finals of the Carolina Regional Championships earning an automatic bid into the ITA Fall Championships
• Split his time between courts four, five and six, going 2-0 in the fourth and sixth spots and 3-1 on the fifth court
• Went 7-2 in his last nine matches and was on a four match win streak before the season was cut short.
2018-19 (Sophomore)
• Singles: 27-15
• Doubles: 2-3
Results
• A singles specialist, Cungu finished the year 27-15 in singles and 2-3 in doubles play
• Competed primarily at the No. 4 singles spot but won matches at the No. 1-5 positions throughout the year
• Posted a 6-2 record against ACC opponents and a 16-11 record during the spring dual season
• Picked up two ranked wins during ACC play
• Defeated No. 96 Gianni Ross of Virginia and No. 109 Josh Peck from North Carolina
• Against Virginia in the final match of the ACC Championship, Cungu defeated Ross once again, 6-2, 6-2, putting the Deacs ahead, 3-2, en route to an eventual title
• Picked up a pair of dual match doubles wins during the spring season, winning at the No. 3 spot with Morgan Dill and Borna Gojo to record wins over Wofford and Tennessee Tech, respectively
2017-18 (Freshman)

Results
• Finished the spring season with an 11-5 record, playing primarily at the No. 6 singles win
• Won his debut match as a Demon Deacon, defeating Coastal Carolina's Gonzalez Achondo
• Helped the Deacs claim the 2018 ACC Championship with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over North Carolina's Mac Kiger
• Posted a 5-2 record in ACC play.
Prior to Wake Forest
• Joined the team in January as a mid-year enrollee
• Climbed as high as No. 810 in the ATP World Rankings
• Advanced to the finals of the singles draw at the Bosnia & Herzegovina F3 event this past summer while claiming the doubles title at the Tunisia F3 Futures event this past January
• Cungu has a career high UTR of 14.37
• Has represented Montenegro in the Davis Cup
