Eight Demon Deacons Travel to Virginia Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Wake Forest track & field continues its 2021 outdoor campaign this week in Charlottesville, Va. for the Virginia Invitational (April 2-3) at Lannigan Field.
Recently, Wake Forest recorded a pair of school records and posted 18 top-10 performances at the Raleigh Relays last week at NC State. The Deacs school records were set by sophomore Alexandra Roberts (women's javelin, 57.68 meters) and junior Zach Facioni (men's 1,500m run, 3:41.14).
Additionally, sophomore Alexandra Roberts was recognized as the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Co-Field Performer of the Week in the javelin at the Raleigh Relays for the second time this season.
Spectators will not be permitted at the Virginia Invitational. Complete schedule of events and meet information for the weekend is below.
