Owen Named McDonald’s All-American Game Nominee

The Wake Forest signee is a Top-50 player in the class of 2022 by BlueStar
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Future Wake Forest guard Skye Owen was named a McDonald's All-American Game nominee, as announced by the organization.
Owen, who signed with the Demon Deacons in November, has been one of the top prospects in the country for nearly her entire high school career. She earned a 90 rating from ESPN and was a top-50 prospect from BlueStar.

The guard from Staten Island, N.Y. helped St. Francis Prep to the 2020 CHSAA City Championship as a sophomore while averaging 16 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and four steals per game.
Off the court, She is a member of the National Honor Society, Math National Honor Society, volunteers her time to tutor her teammates and also volunteers at a local soup kitchen.
