The Deacs led all teams in scoring on par fours and was second in scoring on par fives. The team totaled 49 birdies and one eagle from graduate student Emilia Migliaccio, which came on the par-four 18th in the first round.

Kuehn fired off four birdies over her final nine holes of the day to make up some ground for the team, and Milgiaccio recorded two more as well before the day was over.
The Deacs finished one over par as a team to come in second, with three players inside the top 15.
Coach's Comments
"We got off to a rough start in the first round but were able to play back and give Kentucky a run for their money a bit, but they topped us at the end. We are looking forward to having a week to regroup and practice on what's necessary for our last event of the fall in Wilmington." - head coach Kim Lewellen
Next Up
The Deacs will finish out their fall slate at The Landfall Tradition, Oct. 28-30, in Wilmington, hosted by UNC Wilmington.
